MUSIC NEWS: UPDATE ON KEKE’S ALBUM & MUSIC

GREAT NEWS! First regarding Keke Palmer’s 1st single “Show Me”. The Lucas Secon penned track will be released as soon as next month. There is no official date yet but you guys can expect to hear the song as soon as September! She will also shoot a video next month as well. We will be launching the “ShowOff Campaign” to help promote the song. So expect to hear more about that near the end of the week.

Good News….Keke’s album is COMPLETE! Keke’s sophomore album is CONFIRMED to be titled “Keke Palmer”! It’s perfect, a self-titled album is the perfect reintroduction of Keke’s music. The album is set to have 11 brand new tracks, including “Show Me”, as well as 2 bonus tracks. We can expect the album in the 1st Quarter of 2012! So AFTER the release of Joyful Noise, and BEFORE the release of Rags…expect Keke’s album. She’s gonna be #1 and I’m puttin it out there now, Keke’s album is gonna be AMAZING! I’ve heard pretty much the whole album, and one thing I can say is expect a song that will sound like “Bottoms Up” took steroids, spit it out, and fried it in a pan full of swag! Keke has songs for everyone on this album. From the club banging urban tracks to the huge international pop songs to the feel good R&B tracks. Im so excited to see everything come together and I can’t wait for everyone to hear the greatness that is Keke Palmer.

KEKE PALMER ANNOUNCES HER OFFICIAL FIRST SINGLE “SHOW ME”

I am EXCITED to report that Keke Palmer’s first single off her upcoming self-titled sophomore album is “SHOW ME”! The song was produced by Lucas Secon (Jordin Sparks, Pussycat Dolls, Britney Spears, etc.) and the song is AMAZING!!! I got the chance to listen to the song a few weeks ago and I am telling you guys the song is AMAZING!!! I don’t know what else to say other than that.

It’s been almost 4 years since Keep it Movin’ (Keke’s 1st single from her first album ‘So Uncool’) was released so I am definitely excited in the direction Keke is going with this album. Everything is shaping up to be a hit, so start saving up your coins NOW! We want Keke’s album/single to be #1. And it can’t be done without US (the fans)!

It is safe to say that THE NEW ERA HAS BEGUN! The song will be available soon, and should hit iTunes this Spring. With that being said GET READY! We have a HIT on our hands and we have got to support Keke and this song. I am not sure WHEN you guys can hear or buy the song, but you better believe that Keke is gonna premiere it in a spectacular way.

This spring get ready SHOW Keke that we are gonna support her and her music. I am excited for the music video, album promotional pictures, tracklisting, album cover, etc. and most importantly keep it locked here at Keke Source (www.keke-palmer.org) WHERE YOU HEARD IT FIRST! We are gonna be broadcasting ALL SUMMER, ALL THE TIME!

This year is Keke’s year!!!

Meanwhile Keke of course will be appearing on Degrassi in the season 11 premiere that airs on Teen Nick on July 18th at 9:00 PM Eastern time. In support of her guest starring role, as herself, Keke is releasing TWO new songs that she will also be performing on the episode, WALLS COME DOWN (written by Bruno Mars) and THE GREATEST which will be released to iTunes THIS TUESDAY, JULY 12! So let’s get out there and support that,

VIDEO: FUN IN THE STUDIO

Keke was just in the studio with producers: Kadis & Sean (who produced her song “Edit”) to record a new song titled ‘We Can Make Up’. The video above shows Keke having fun in the studio as a part of the song plays – also after that part goes off Keke is seen in the studio when she was recording “The One You Call” (song produced by: Neff-U). Keke is going in the studio again this week, can’t wait to hear what she comes up with!

MUSIC NEWS: KEKE TALKS!

Keke shared, “I’m so excited. We should be releasing something by the end of this year. I’m with Interscope Records which is like pop and R&B. We really don’t have any young R&B singers out right now and that’s what I’m trying to be. The only young person we really have is Taylor Swift. I love my country music now, but I’m trying to give the fans who love R&B music some taste of that as well.”

She continued about her songs, “There’s one called ‘The One You Call,’ which is basically about I’m not going to be the one you call. When you just broke up with your girlfriend, you want to talk to someone, or at home, bored and you call me, because you think I’m always going to be there. I love that song a lot. A lot of guys do that (laughs). There’s another one called, ‘Shut Up, Stop Lying’ and I hope you know what that one is about.”

KEKE SINGS SWV “WEAK”

Keke sings SWV’s classic song “Weak”. She did a phenominal job in my opinion. She didn’t over sing it, neither did she under sing it! All of these video’s Keke is popping out is getting me really excited for her album! With that being said, if you like this song/video…you will love Keke’s song “Favorite” which samples this song. “Favorite” WILL be on Keke’s upcoming album. (consider that a KSO exclusive!) Keke co-wrote the song as well. So get excited….Keke’s gonna be BIG!
